Our Twenty Somethings 

I started my fitness journey with Carol at Why Not Thrive Fitness about 10 months ago and I am so glad I found her! The reason I started with Carol was because my shoulder would frequently dislocate. With Carol's guidance and strength training program, I am happy to report that my shoulders have never been stronger!Some weeks it is hard to stay motivated. Carol has really kept me moving. Her cheerful attitude makes the training time go quickly. I would recommend Carol to anyone looking to improve their fitness and life overall:)

Our Thirty Somethings 

I started training with Carol over two years ago when I had a 2 year old and was 6 weeks post partum. She safely and effectively helped me regain strength and build muscle while providing a safe and fun space for my children while I did my workout. She immediately had my trust and going to the gym twice a week became one of our families favourite activities. Since then she has trained me through another pregnancy and I am excited to continue sessions with her through another post partum journey as I already know the results I will achieve! For me there was really no other options, as leaving my kids in a big box gym daycare while I blindly navigated the gym and equipment after having babies was a no go. Thankful for Carol and everything she provides!

Our Forty Somethings 

My name is Shoshana, I’m 48 and have a step daughter, 22, and 2 kids of my own, 12 & 8. After my last child I really lost the desire to workout or even try to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I wasn’t feeling the best physically or mentally and finally realized I needed to make a change. 


I have tried joining gyms many times over the years and never found one I was comfortable in until now! I was always so self conscious about how I looked and not knowing what exercises were right for me added more stress. I even tried the home gym strategy and failed miserably. When I found Why Not Thrive Fitness, I decided to give it one more try. 


Carol was great from day one. She put me at ease and was open to working with me right where I was at. I’m in charge of my fitness and how I achieve it. I initially was very nervous to join a group session but quickly realized that it was the best choice I could have made. 


I quickly became friends with these ladies and the workout is now a visiting/workout session. The time flies by, I’m relaxed, no pressure to look a certain way or feel the need to keep up with anyone else. We’re all on our own journey but doing it together. 


Carol goes above and beyond what a typical instructor does. She really cares for her clients and wants the best for them. You will not find a better place, so take a chance, you won’t regret it!

Our Fifty Somethings 

I started my journey with WNTF March 15th. Having recently retired and sailed past my mid 50’s I decided to invest in my health. 

I’m hooked. Since March I have lost 14 lbs and am down inches:

I love the routines Carol Collin sets out for us - the challenge is yours to conquer at your pace and with great direction from Carol. I truly appreciate and respect that the scheduling allows some flexibility (with respect to WNTF). All the other ladies are great to workout with, so much support and yes laughs!!

Our Sixty Somethings 

My form has improved since I joined the group a year ago. Carol is always pleasant while reminding me to maintain correct body position. It has helped me with my balance and my strength. I feel better physically and mentally. Carol is a good trainer. The routine she sets up are fun and offers different options so…before you know it your training is complete.  She is a good motivator and the group of ladies are really nice. I’m 63 years old. I’m sure I’m the oldest of the group and I never feel judged if sometimes I’m lacking of coordination or have difficulties with some movements. I can tell how much my physique has improved. I strongly recommend Why Not Thrive Fitness.
